My recent wonderful trip to India....
why go to meditation seminars/celebrations and how does one benefit?

I have recently returned from a short trip to India, one week in all,  to celebrate the birth anniversary of my wonderful guide Parthasarathi Rajagopalachari. He passed away in December last year and this is the first time we have celebrated without his physical presence.... well it was something special, 60,000 meditators all meditating in the Sahaj Marg practice, in the same place at the same time was amazing! Lead by our new guide, Kamlesh Patel, the meditation sessions  were really 'out of this world' and I found myself at the end of each one, wondering where I was and taking some time to work it out!

The joy on everyone's faces told the story...this was a time we could set aside, go inside and find the quiet and peace within, the inner divinity we are all craving...such a welcome relief from the hustle  and bustle of everyday life ... our challenge is how to maintain the wonderful condition we acquired there!

The next celebration, the birthday of our new and dear, current guide/teacher Kamlesh Patel is being held in Tirrupur India 28th September and although I am not able to make it to India I will be celebrating at a seminar in Perth for this purpose with fellow seekers.  There will we celebrations in all our centres so if you would like to come and join us please feel free to do so.

  1. Thanks Elizabeth for sharing your lovely experience. I could see how difficult it is to describe the feelings of attending such large gatherings and meditating with so many people practising the same system. Heart pours out for the gratitude of Rev. Chariji who has done so much for me for all aspects of my life. May He live long and more and more people be benefitted by the system of practice that He has given to us. More so now he has left his very able disciple and our guide Rev. Kamlesh ji to inspire us more and more.
